SFB-TRR 195: "Symbolic Tools in Mathematics and their Application"
The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) has decided to fund a new trans-regional collaborative research centre (SFB-TRR 195) "Symbolic Tools in Mathematics and their Application" coordinated by TU Kaiserslautern (starting in January 2017). Co-applicant institutions are RWTH Aachen University and Saarland University. After successful evaluation the SFB-TRR 195 is in the second funding period at the moment.
In the SFB-TRR scientists of the Algebra, Geometry and Computer Algebra Group collaborate with scientists at RWTH Aachen University, Saarland University, TU Berlin, TU Darmstadt, the Universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen and the MPI Leipzig.
