On October 19, 2018, this year's Graduation Ceremony of the Department of Mathematics took place in TUK's AudiMax of the University. In the course of this, the 152 graduates of the academic year 2017/18 were honoured.

The event was moderated by Prof. Dr. Stefan Ruzika, who chose the motto "Algorithms!" for the celebration. In addition to the honouring of the graduates, the annual review of the Dean, two awards for particular achievements within the Master's studies and the retrospective from a student's perspective ensured an enjoyable programme.

After the traditional appearance of the graduates' choir ("Gaudeamus igitur ...."), the festivity ended with a joint dinner in the foyer of Building 42.
