Felix Klein Autumn Workshop »Mathematics in the artificial and biological intelligence«

From September 21 to 23, 2022, the autumn workshop »Mathematics in the artificial and biological intelligence« will take place in room I 0.01/I 0.05 of the Fraunhofer ITWM from 10:00 to 13:30. The event is organized as part of the Felix-Klein-Akademie.

Lecturer:Prof. Dr. Illia Horenko

Content: The workshop will provide an overview of important mathematical challenges, concepts and methods in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This will be motivated and considered from the biomedical perspective that arises when observing/measuring real neurobiological systems. The resulting mathematical problems come from the optimization environment, and their mathematical solution approaches are compared in terms of numerical feasibility and complexity.
