ANTS Conference 2016 takes place at TU Kaiserslautern
From 29.08.2016 to 02.09.2016, the Department of Mathematics hosted the "Twelfth Algorithmic Number Theory Symposium (ANTS-XII)" with more than 80 scientists from Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia.
Since its inception in 1994, the biennial ANTS conferences have become the leading international forum for the presentation of new research in the field of computational number theory. The conferences focus on algorithmic aspects of number theory (including elementary number theory, algebraic, analytical and geometric number theory), algebraic geometry, the theory of finite fields and cryptography.
