wird Lisa Kusch einen Vortrag über Use of Constraint Methods for Multi-
Objective Engineering Design Problems halten. Interessierte Gäste sind herzlich willkommen.

Abstract:
Designing systems in the context of engineering applications often requires
finding trade-off solutions to conflicting design objectives. In this talk, we
will take a look at different continuous multi-objective optimization prob-
lems in engineering design with a focus on mechanical engineering and
physics.

The goal is to understand the benefits of providing a set of trade-off
solutions and the associated challenges for multi-objective optimization
algorithms. We focus on constraint methods as a special case of scalariza-
tion. The epsilon constraint method and the normal constraint method are
introduced and examined as possible strategies.
