Best Paper Award at MEMSYS 2025
On October 8, the paper A Mathematical Model for XOR-Based Application-Specific DRAM Address Mapping Schemes received the Best Paper Award at the 11th International Symposium on Memory Systems (MEMSYS) in Washington D.C.
The publication combines mathematical optimization with memory architecture design and presents a model for synthesizing application-specific DRAM address mappings.
This work was carried out as part of the DFG Research Training Group 2982 “MIMO,” under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Norbert Wehn (Department of Microelectronic Systems Design, EMS) and Prof. Dr. Sven O. Krumke (Optimization Group), by Andrei Rotaru, Dr. Oliver Bachtler (Optimization Group), Lukas Steiner (Department of EMS) and in collaboration with the Computer Engineering Group at JMU Würzburg, led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Jung.
Congratulations to everyone involved!
