The Algebra, Geometry and Computer Algebra group (AGAG) currently consists of one junior professor and seven professors with their staff, as well as two permanent lecturers.
The research in the AGAG covers the fields of algebraic geometry, singularity theory, tropical geometry, representation and group theory, number theory and computer algebra.
In teaching, AGAG offers a wide range of basic and service lectures in mathematics as well as a large number of advanced lectures in their fields of research.
