Abstract: Let G be a finite group. The minimal dimension in which G can be realized by isometries is known to be the dimension of a minimal faithful real representation. The minimal number of points which realize the group as their full group of isometries appears to be less well-understood. We discuss some known bounds (this is work in progress).
