Prof. Mike Giles visits RTG 1932 as Mercator Fellow

In January/February 2016, Professor Mike Giles (Mathematical Institute, Oxford) visited Kaiserslautern as the Mercator Fellow of the "DFG-Graduiertenkolleg 1932". Mike Giles is well-known as a world-leading expert in computational fluid dynamics, and, since 2008, for his pioneering work on the multilevel Monte Carlo method for stochastic differential equations.

As a result of his visit, new cooperation projects have been started.
