Abstract:

Let g = gln(k) be the general linear Lie algebra over an algebraically closed eld k of positive charac-
teristic. The crucial representations of g to understand are those associated to the reduced enveloping
algebras Uχ(g) for a nilpotent  χ∈g‡*. After recapping some theory of Uχ(g) and its representations, we
explain how they can be studied via representations of restricted truncated shifted Yangians. Then we
present some consequences, in particular to the case where  is a two-row nilpotent.
