A result of the Fieker-Klueners algorithm for the computation of Galois
groups is an explicit realisation of the Galois group of a polynomial as
a permutation group (on explicit roots). Armed with this knowledge, I
will explain how computations of and in the splitting field can be
obtained.  For example: I'll explain how to solve a polynomial by
radicals using this techniques.
